Brad Turner's Pioneer Park Photo Series

“Internationally acclaimed filmmaker Brad Turner has brought his tremendous talent to us in many ways. This time, to offset the loss of funds from the Rummage Sale, Brad is generously donating a limited edition of images that capture a lifetime of memories. They are Brad’s homage to the stretching lawns, sheltering trees and majestic vistas. It is a part of his own dedication to our community’s healthy and vital future,” said Tillmann.

There will be a limited edition of 50 prints available for each image. These 8” X 10” photographs have been handprinted, by Turner, on archival paper, hand signed “in composition”, and authenticated on the reverse. Individual prints are available for $125 each, or a full set can be purchased for $400. All proceeds go to the PPA.

Prints will be on display, and available for sale, at The Village Bookshop, located at 24 Main Street in Bayfield. They can also be purchased online at info@pioneerpark.ca or through The Village Bookshop at info@villagebookshop.ca.

Our Newest Guest Artist: Patricia Lewis

Patricia Lewis

Patricia Lewis, of London, Ontario, is now displaying her work at the Turner Gallery for a limited time! Patricia is actually the mother of our full-time summer guest artist Andrew Lewis, who is both a graphic designer and fine artist.

Born in Wales and emigrated to Canada in 1956, Patricia joined the Canadian Embroiderers Guild in 1973 and began teaching for the guild in 1975. She served on the executive committee for 10 years, including as President.

Having attended numerous workshops by national and international fibre artists, she developed an interest in liturgical work and now has works in churches in Canada and in Wales. Having spent most of her life with needle and thread, Patricia now delves into the other medium(s) including paint and brush creating fascinating new works.  She is the proud mother of two sons who inspire her to be adventuresome not only with her art but in her life.

She has developed a very unique style of modern art that is 3 dimensional, with great use of colour.

This Sunday, July 22nd: Live Painting and TWO artists visiting

We are very excited to announce that this Sunday, July 22nd, we will be having BOTH artists Andrew Lewis and Johnnene Maddison at the gallery!

From 12- 2pm Johnnene Maddison will be doing a meet & greet with her artwork on display for only two weeks! Johnnene is an abstract artist living in London, Ontario, who's new series on display is inspired by a near death experience, taking a new direction on her work. Johnnene's incredibly impressive art career began at the Pratt Institute in NYC in 1965, where she completed her BFA, and has brought her back to Ontario while adding 2 more degrees and becoming a wife and mother. For more information on Johnnene and her work visit her website

From 1-4 pm Andrew Lewis will be doing a live painting demonstration! Andrew himself says this is something he would normally never do, so it's a very special treat! His work has been flying off the walls at the gallery, both in full size and print form. Andrew continues to work an insanely busy schedule of releasing work abroad while is art is on display, this past week alone collaborating on new work to be released in Mexico. To keep up to date on Andrew's work, follow him on Instagram @andrewlewisart, or visit his art website or design website
